    2020-08-28

In combination with costs (such as health care and lost productivity) (Hanly and Sharp, 2014) and the years of life lost due to premature mortality and disability (Soerjomataram et al., 2012), our results can provide an evidence HA1077 for the formulation, prioritization and im-plementation of labor policies aimed at improved occupational condi-tions and ultimately reduce the overall burden of cancers in France.
    Declaration of interest
DL declared he received research support from AREVA, EDF, as a grant to IRSN. All the other authors declare they have no actual or potential competing financial interests.
    Funding
This project is funded by the French National Cancer Institute (Institut National Du Cancer) for the project entitled “Définition des priorités pour la prévention du cancer en France métropolitaine: la fraction de cancers attribuables aux modes de vie et aux facteurs en-vironnementaux.” (Grant Number: 2015-002).
    Acknowledgements
The authors thank the members of the International Advisory group (D. Maxwell Parkin, Jürgen Rehm and Paolo Vineis) and the members of the steering committee (Catherine Hill, Agnes Rogel, Jean-Nicolas Ormsby, Laure Dossus, and Gwenn Menvielle) for their overall advice in the project “Définition des priorités pour la prévention du cancer en France métropolitaine: la fraction de cancers attribuables aux modes de vie et aux facteurs environnementaux.” We also thank the French Cancer Registries Network which provided the French incidence data. Finally, we acknowledge the contribution of the AGRICAN study team, the Quetelet network, and Hervé Roy from the Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety for the provision of some exposure data used in the study (pesticides, SUMER data, and SISERI, respectively).
